AdriaMare MaritimeTraining Center has been providing world class maritime and nautical training since 1989. We offer training in the areas of Basic Safety, Fire Fighting, Sea Survival, Tanker Operations, First Aid and Medical, Health, Safety and the Environment, Radio Communications, Radar, Simulation, Navigation and Dynamic Positioning.
As a minimum, where applicable, the courses conducted at our centre comply with the requirements of STCW 1995, ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL 73/78, and have been approved by the Ministry of Sea, Tourism, Transport and Development for the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Panama – Panama Marine Survey & Certification Services Inc..
As a confirmation of our ongoing commitment to quality training, AdriaMare became the first maritime training center in Croatia to obtain ISO9002 accreditation of its quality management system with DNV in May 1998 and currently holds ISO9001:2000 accreditation.
Constantly striving to meet and improve upon the industry's training needs we recently became a development contact of The Nautical Institute for the Republic of Croatia, a full member of the International Association for Safety and Survival Training (IASST), and member of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA).
AdriaMare is an Authorized Distributor of IMO Publications.
As a part of our commitment to safety we hosted the 7th IASST International Conference on October 9th and 10th, 2006 with the theme „The Human Element in Safety and Survival at Sea“, On November the 8th and 9th, 2007 we co-organized the first Adriatic Diving Conference on the theme „Improvement of safety and responsibility in diving“.
Keeping in line with industry trends and customer demands AdriaMare Maritime Training Center opened of the first DP Center in Split, Croatia.
The DP Center's Dynamic Positioning Courses are approved by the Nautical Insitute.

FACILITIES
AdriaMare provides its services in several locations. Located on 2,500 sq. meters in Sibenik, Zadar, Biograd n/m and Split our facilities offer 9 classrooms, 5 specialized Simulator's, Nautical Lab, DP lab and fully equipped offices for administration.
AdriaMare runs simulated scenarios and practical workshops in specialized classrooms. Simulator's and Nautical lab, DP equipment include:
• Transas full mission Navi-Trainer Professional 4000 simulators with conning,
ECDIS and ARPA/RADAR with 12 work stations
• Transas DP1/DP2 Class Simulator
• Transas engine room 2000/3000 simulators for ship diesel propulsion plant, auxilliary systems and electric power plant
• GMDSS equipment including VHF/DSC radiotelephone, NAVTEX, INMARSAT C Trans/Receiver.
INSTRUCTORS
A professional team comprised of instructors, master mariners, professors, doctors and engineers with extensive sea service and DP experience, supported by the most contemporary equipment, guarantee a high standard of training. Through a series of lectures, audio visual presentations, demonstrations and realistic practical exercises/scenarios with interactive debriefs, skills are passed on to the participans to eliminate risk and ensure customer satisfaction and safety at sea.
